Who Is TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

TabTrade.com went live in Q1 2026. CFD broker incorporated in Saint Lucia, under the FSRA. The person who started it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was a senior exec at BlackBull Markets, a New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It says the person running this knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. Still preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities banks and hedge funds use. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. Tab Trade went the other way. Unusual for a new broker.

Market coverage: forex, indices, metals, commodities, equities, cryptocurrencies, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For a platform this new, the breadth is broad.

Platforms

You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from a single account. Most brokers pick one platform. Getting both is useful. Pick what suits your style.

MetaTrader 5 is the default. Full charting, automated trading, tons of scripts and indicators. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better DOM. More responsive charts. cBot support. Plenty of traders find it more natural after using both.

FIX API is available for algo traders but is only on the VIP tier ($25k minimum). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should make the platform set when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Suits anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge account. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On majors, the raw spread is frequently below 0.2 pips. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this require a minimum deposit. TabTrade has no minimum.

VIP account. $25k to open. FIX connectivity, faster fills, negotiated fees. Not for typical accounts. Skip it unless you move real size.

How Fast Are the Fills

The speed is the area where this broker separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Under 30ms on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.

Does it matter? If you scalp, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals something about priorities.

Combine that execution speed with the Edge account pricing and what you get makes sense. Not many platforms with no minimum deposit have infrastructure at this level.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail that matters. Tab Trade is licensed by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a dealbreaker, look elsewhere. Lots of tier-1 alternatives out there.

But. Benjamin Boulter built his career at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The execution setup is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not make it safe. But inform how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. In exchange: high leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, fast fills. Whether the trade-off is worth it is your call.

Welcome Offer

TabTrade runs a deposit bonus of up to $2,000. Usual deposit match. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: minimum lots traded before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before funding.
