What to Make of TabTrade - A New CFD Broker in 2026

Tab Trade — What It Is

Tab Trade launched in Q1 2026. Online broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the Financial Services Regulatory Authority. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, an New Zealand-regulated broker.

That last detail is relevant. It means the leadership has actually done this before. That is not a guarantee. But more reassuring than a founder with no industry background.

The broker opened with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same data centres prime brokers run on. The typical new launch focuses on ads and sign-up promos. TabTrade led with infrastructure. Interesting choice.

What you can trade: forex, stock indices, gold, silver, oil, energies, softs, stock CFDs, crypto, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, that range is broad.

What You Trade On

They offer: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and web trading. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Having both matters. You are not locked into one.

MT5 is what most people know. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you know MetaTrader before, there are no surprises.

cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. More responsive charts. Native automated trading. Many people find it more natural once they try it.

FIX API is there for automated strategies but requires the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is apparently coming. That should round things out when it arrives.

Accounts and Pricing

Three levels: Standard, Edge, VIP.

Standard. Spreads from 1.0 pips. Zero commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Good for anyone who does not want to think about commission.

Edge. Raw spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: spread plus $7 per lot round-turn. On liquid pairs, the raw spread is frequently under 0.2 pips. Meaning your actual cost per trade can sit below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that offer pricing like this ask for $500 or $1,000 upfront. TabTrade requires zero deposit.

VIP. $25,000 deposit required. FIX API, execution under 20ms, tailored rates. Not relevant to the average person. Do not worry about it unless you trade institutionally.

Infrastructure

This is the area where TabTrade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. Those are not marketing fluff. The average platform quote 100ms to 300ms.

Should you care? If you trade small timeframes, yes. The gap between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you hold positions longer, it matters less. What matters is the infrastructure is there. That says they are not cutting corners on the tech.

Put together that infrastructure with the Edge account pricing and the total package makes sense. Not many platforms in this bracket run Equinix connectivity.

The FSRA Question

Now, the detail you need to be straight about. TabTrade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is offshore. No FCA. No investor compensation scheme. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, stop reading. Plenty of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.

However. The person running it spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The Equinix infrastructure is expensive. Fly-by-night platforms do not invest in tier-1 data centre access. None of this replace tier-1 regulation. It does factor into how you think about it.

What you are accepting: you trade regulatory safety. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works comes down to your priorities.

Deposit Bonus

Tab Trade runs bonus funds of up to $2,000. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, TabTrade credit extra capital. Usual conditions attached: trading volume requirements before bonus funds can be taken out. Check the terms before you deposit.
